1982 XJ 1100 parts needed

    Still needing parts for my 1100. I need both front brake calipers and lines, rear brake caliper and set of carbs. Could possibly work out trade for my two XJ 650's. One is a 1980 and is complete but has no spark, not sure of the second one but it does have YICS and would be good for parts only.

    I may have the brake lines. Do you still have the stock brakes that are linked front and rear? Thats what I have. You would be better off replacing them with new stainless lines, the bike will stop better. Are your calipers worth rebuilding, thats the way to go.

    Whatever mlew can't provide let me know. I have everything you are still needing and I agree with him, re-build if you can. I also have master cylinders along with brake lines, and calipers. Just let me know.

    Better .to get all the parts you need from one person, all I have is brake lines. They are not in real good condition. Best to get new ones.

    I got the 1100 and the prev owner misplaced the brake calipers and the front lines were cut.

    The brakes are linked fore and aft but the lines were cut just above the calipers. I just need the rubber line that goes to the calipers.

    I sent you a PM a week or so ago letting you know I had the calipers (both front and rear), both master cylinders, and all the hoses as well as a spare set of carbs.

    I just wanted to relay the experience that I had getting parts. I finally contacted Jamie and got the parts I needed from him. If you try to do business with him, don't. I asked for a set of carbs, 2 brake calipers and lines for my 1100. What I got instead from him was carbs, 2 front calipers, 1 rear caliper, new caliper pistons several sets of brake lines. Now, thanks to him I have too much stuff. Thanks to him, I'm pretty sure that I threw my back out getting that overstuffed box inside the door! What kind of service is that anyways?!?!
