So I picked this thing up for $20.

I'd like to see if I can figure out who makes it so I can look at the hardware and/or instructions to put on my Maxim. I may have to go to a round headlight, but that's OK - I wanted to replace it with an H4 light of some kind anyway.

    Any idea?

I'm thinking something like a Slip Streamer Turbo?

Yeah, I'm thinking Slip Streamer. I think I got a good deal. Even if I have to get some more hardware to fit my square handlebars.

I think that you're right about the manufacturer but there have been a bunch of small makers of these things. Most of the older handlebar mounted fairings mounted pretty much the same way. If it is older, there won't be any hardware available for it since most of them didn't include anything that you don't already have but you can check out the mounting for any of the handlebar mtd. fairings for getting the general idea of how to mount it then pick up some metal stock at either Home Depot or a place like Metalsonline then fab what you need. It looks like the bottom braces used the headlight shell to clamp to then the bars themselves for the upper clamps which was very common back in the day.

Keep in mind that it will affect handling since you'll be turning it as well as the front wheel.

I think I've got all the hardware I need, except that the clamps are made for round handlebars instead of the square. I'll test fit them to see if I can use as if, otherwise JC Whitney seems to still sell what I need for not too much money.
