bearings needed to fit xj900 forks to xj750

    hi, I,m trying to fit xj900 forks (37mm) and yokes to a xj750 neck, the head bearings I need are 2 x 48x30 taper roller bearings (does this sound right?),
    what models of yamaha head bearings does this size fit ?. I have the bearing sizes but no reference numbers/model fitment charts.

    hi, if you are in the uk give orbic bearings a ring. You will find them in the yellow pages. They are an engineering bearing supplier but are really helpful. Or just a thought google simplybearings and try them. Neither will have a clue about the bikes but will help if you have the sizes of the bearing you need. Ie - inside and outside diameters.
