Why are you upgrading? Not enough power? The Triumph lads at T595.net went through all this because the Daytona back brake is shite...their solution was to do a simple actuating lever mod to increase lever pressure...

From looking at the parts fiche it doesn't look like it will interchange easily.

I would have the same question, why "upgrade?" How about completely rebuilding the stock system with new pads and a stainless line (after a caliper and M/C rebuild as well?)

Well, the stock xj part is kind of ugly and I didn't know if something better was available easy to swap.

I actually grafted an 1100 rear end on my 750, I don't have a stock master, but I do have the caliper, etc.. I am also adapting fz600 rear sets, so I can adapt mounts easy, just wondering about brake fittings sizes, banjo bolts etc.....I guess that would have been useful info to post up in the original post, d'oh.

Ya....kind of a teaser pic, would like to get some more done before I post up a new thread. Wating on a part from my local yamaha dealership to finish up the suspension. Called yesterday, supposed to be in today.(fingers crossed)

I was also looking at a fzr600 rear master swap. Fitz..do you just search for parts fiche? Or have a bunch...does it tell the size of the banjo bolt, or fitting ends?

It looks like you know your way around fabricating.
    That's for sure.

Why not try an XJ-900 Rear Master.
You'll have to run the Line along the Top of the Trailing Arm.
You could substitute a Front Master Reservoir off a rocket to save some space.

    It hangs Vertically.
You need Mechanical Links to connect with the MC Plunger Rod.

Thanks guys, Rick is do you know, if the fittings are the same to just get a line for the 1100 or 900 and have it bolt up?

One reason I was looking at the seca II is the availability and frugality of it, and it is made by brembo.

Did find an 83 900 master on e bay about 10 bucks more, than the duece. I have already spent too much money on this thing! :x

I have gotten several sets of custom length SS brake lines from H-E-L USA. They will make any length with any fittings on the ends you need. I just installed a 7 line set on my Venture. The kit has 7 lines, all stainless banjo bolts, washers and bleed nipples for 300$.
