You can always get them online, etc. More expensive that way since you have to pay shipping..

    Greetings Fellas:

I'm in need of some assistance. I've been loking through threads and found this one and one by cturek back on 10/25/09.

I've recently removed the rectangle instrument cluster for a mini speedometer with indicators. Also I exchanged the dual square light set up for a single round lamp.

Now I did the lamp some months ago and it worked just fine (low and high beam). Now with all the jumpers and splicing for indicators and so on I am having a slight issue. When I press the switch to engage the high beam, the light goes out completely. But, my indicator led in the gauge turns on.

When I put a jumper to connect the two headlight hot wires together the switch works properly and turns the high beam on and off. But, because of the jumper the indicator led stays on.

What in the world am I doing wrong????

    As always thanks!!!

Sounds to me like you have the high and low beams wired in series?? instead of in parallel. Essentially, (if this is indeed the case) you need to run one supply to the switch and two leads out. One to the high beam side and the other to the low beam side. The other wire should be used to provide a ground for the system to complete the circuit. I don't have a diagram in front of me so I can't tell you which colored wires are which. Hope this helps.
