The subject pretty much sums it up. 1982 xj750 engine I'm doing for fun. Sat outside w/o plugs in it. I'd like to find aftermarket pistons and rings. Thinking about titanium valves, Manley and ferrea don't list any. Any help would be great, thanks.

There wasn't/isn't much of a "Performance aftermarket" for the XJs the way there is for the GSXR's, etc.

Two reasons, really; the bikes are rockets right out of the box, so it's hard to improve on the motor without throwing a whole lot of money after very little gain; and they're shaft driven. Hence never really taken seriously as a "high-performance" bike.

Definitely check with chacal; you're going to have a bit of a time just finding stock parts.

If you are going strictly aftermarket, I highly recomend Wossner pistons & rings. I'll have to dig up Jim Hinshaw's email and phone. He's got the best pricing, even better then the US rep -mail to:John@woessner-usa.com who is a great guy.

However if you write to John above, he will give you Jims #
