    I have a 1982 Seca xj750r.
It has the Yamaha fairing, but I need to replace the windshield on the fairing.
Any ideas where to get a replacement windshield that will fit it ?

I know that Gustafson Plastics in Florida makes them but I don't have any contact info. Scratch that ...I did a google and found this:
Gustafson Plastics, St. Augustine Florida (904)-824-3443

Gustafsson's web site is at http://www.bikescreen.com/

In know they have the screen for the 550 Seca faring, and I think they have many other Yamahas also.

i bought a windscreen for my 81 XJ750 at www.bikescreen.com and it works great for wind protection BUT it's not the original shape. The original screen has a lip at the top that flips up and makes it look real sporty, the ones they manufacture come straight up with no lip at the top. So it depends on if you are looking for form or function on where to shop.

Here is another site that sells screens for the Seca 750

Worth noting that they also have a good selection of Vetter screens as well, for all you fellow 'Jammers out there.

This info is great!!! I lost my windshield twice now... once in an accident where I was rear-ended (bike totaled, new XJ750RK of same year and same color purchased), and once on a mountain road where the pavement crumbled well on my side of the white line.

Now, I have to choose the replacement:
    Gustafson
    Clearview

Tygor- I'm picking up a replacement for my XJ750 faring windscreen from Clearview this weekend. So far they've been easy to deal with. If you'd like before you order, I can wite up a little review for you and post it here (complete with pics).

This post saved me $130. or better I was going to have a 1/4" acrylic windscreen custom made for $245. I'm glad I checked here first found it pre made for $105.
