    I have an 82 XJ 650 Maxim.

I cannot find any specs for what oil filter I need. My Haynes manual doesn't seem to list it either.

Does anyone know what I need and where they can be found?

    Thanks.

    Hey Shadow,
Here in South Carolina, Advance Auto parts have the oil filters in stock.
Only 4 or 5 bucks best I remember. The Fram brand comes with the 2 O-rings needed. My bike is 1980 and I just took a shot in the dark and asked if they had one. They looked in computer and it was still listed. You can try that.

You might have to order it from Autozone or something. I used to find them at Walmart, but not anymore it seems.
