I need to buy some new tires for my Seca 750 for the up and coming riding season and I am just wondering if anyone can recommend one brand / model of tire over another. I would much rather ride twisty windy roads as opposed to going in a straight line on an interstate. I had a set of Metzlers on the bike a few years back and they worked really well. Then I replaced them with a set of Kenda Challengers after getting a really good deal on two ($50.00). Does anyone have any suggestions on a performance-oriented tires that wear reasonably well?

Kendas are good tires for the price. I've had good luck with them on mine too. Of course when it comes to tires, you usually get what you pay for. The Metzlers are going to run you more, but are far superior to the Kendas. Iwould stay away from Dunlops form past experience with them (poor handling characteristics and poor tire life) Michelins are also good, but spendy.

Avon road masters, Dunlop arrowmax, Metzeler lasertecs or any Metzelers, would not buy Continentals as in past experiences they are hard wearing but handle bad, and all so Pirelli sport demands wear quick but handle brilliantly, but im not sure you can get them In XJ sizes.

You can indeed get the Sport Demons for 120/90-18 (rear). Not cheap though...
I'm in the process of choosing tires for my Secaha. Looks like most shops have a lot to choose from.
