XJ550 owners.. Info request

    Hey guys.. Could someone with an XJ550 do me a favor? I'm trying to get an idea how big the 550's center stand is.. Basically, the distance from one of the mount bolt eyes to the ground when the bike is parked on center stand.

    Not trying to steal Big's thunder, lol, but mine is on the stand now. I'm showing 9 3/4 inches to the center of the mounting bolt, but that's with a ruler, not perfectly accurate. Bigfitz?

    Thanks fellas!
    This confirms my suspicions, and I will now have to acquire an XJ550 center stand.. My Radian's stand is an inch shorter, which doesn't allow me to extend the front fork all the way and still park on center stand... I guess that's what I get for fitting an XJ750 front end on a Radian :x

    Where's the longer stand gonna "hit" once retracted?

    I'm not sure. Right now, only part of the rubber stop is actually hitting the pad on the left muffler, but it's on the short side... If it moved an inch farther from the mount point, it would still hit the pad... Hard to tell without seeing the 550's stand.

    I have a center stand that has been sitting around for about 25 years that I'd be willing to part with. The spring has been lost though.
