Any ideas on where I can find to buy, or how I could modify my foot controls so that they are forward instead of in the stock position from what I have on my 85 xj700? thanks in advance.

I can make them but I would need the bike to get the measurements right and need to know where you want your feet to be (some have longer legs)
If your 650 has the same measurements as the 750 Seca, I may be able to fabricate the mounts and levers, but I'm not sure about the length of the control rods. Your pivot points my be different than mine.

I think they are. Isn't the seca like a uniframe in the front? Last seca I had the frame didn't go up to the exhaust. These setups go to the motormounts. Tryen to get out of it for less than 200. Which is the ebay kits

No there's no uniframe on the '82 750 Seca. Mione has two down tubes like the Maxim frame has.
I built my controls with mounts coming off of the front motor mounts, and a cross bar with the controls on each end. That's the easy part to make. It's the brake and shift levers that take time to fabricate, then the shift/brake rods need to be just the right length.
Even if you buy the controls off ebay, there's still come work to getting the levers to corispond with the rods so the controls work just right. I believe the rods come blank, so you will need to cut them the proper length and thread the ends for the clevis'.
