today i went to a guys house i met dwcopple at years ago and offered to clean out his barn. We FILLED a 4 place enclosed snowmobile trailer to the roof in some points with bikes and parts. here's a list

KZ750 twin-complete, said it needs gas and battery to run
kz750 twin Basket cast engine turns over
xs500 COMPLETE and custom, it was someone bagger and has some o the weirdest touring pieces on it ever, and air brushing
    cb350 scrambler basket
    kz440 basket
    honda 740 - the v-4 complete
mini enduro old yammi almost complete
basket rd5-rd350, with a fresh rebuilt engine
2 complete monoshock dirt bike frames
    Basket case katana 750
basket case honda 400 or 450
and so many parts I dont even know what to do
    all for.......

$500. io told him i'd clean out his barn for 500, he said ok except for a fj1100, a cb1000 (he will sell for 100 bucks, says it runs) and another dirt bike

i also have a bunch of extra carbs, pne set says cb550 on maskin tape but i cant see anythig different than my cb750 round tops...

i also have a weird front end.. lots of drum brake stuff too..

i know about pics... i'll try

You do realize you need to register with the state to have a salvage yard?

So...about 3 "monster bikes" worth? If that Katana has even half of a decent engine, that's some worth.

Your picture makes a lot of sense now.

I have no idea where some of those were hidden, cuz they weren't there when I was. That CB1000 is a POS two-speed hi-lo trans, the other stuff was unrestorable without $$$ except that FJ that I was drooling over, he needs to let that one go if he isn't gonna finish it or it'll just rot to the ground...too bad. So where are you storing all of these now? And was it your $500 or did you go in on it with a buddy? Curious what your plans are?

I guess one of these days I will also need to do some spring cleaning in the parts room and someone is going to get a good deal on parts for sure!!
It would be nice to let them go for one set price instead of selling everything separate and shipping all that stuff. I guess you just get to the point where you don't have use for all that stuff and need the room instead no matter what the value. One of these days....

me and my friend went half n half, and my friend is buying a house with a 35x25 garage and we're working on them there

we're gonna repaint the ugly ass kz750 and run it
im going to get the xs500 (hope its not a 400) running then i want to do a drop seat chop to it
katana motor is going in a banshee frame we have
440 motor is going in a dirt bike frame
rd 350 stuff - im going to try and assemble as much if the bike as possible n sell it

and yep, joe (jpswino) wants the 1000, that fj1100 will sit there, and he has one of the NICEST 06 duramax diesels just sitting, it got sweet rims, off road tires, tinted, system, and he drives a POS blazer.. battery was dead in the duramax and had to charge it so we could get stuff down from the loft.

we have enough chrome fenders to choke a horse

    Hey,

I could use some RD carbs if they are in good shape, cylinders too is they are stock....LOL....any triple parts? I almost bought one of those 10 speed Hondas for a few hundred a while back....I'm not really into cruisers but something about that bike I always liked.

and yeah, you did well....but you don't suck cause you found a great deal, you might suck, but it's not because you found a great deal<LOL>!!

the rd carbs are in a box, i have to dig them out. i'll try to measure the cylinder walls see if they're stock bore and if he was right about it being rebuilt. luckily this motor may be less than 70 lbs so it could be shipable

Wow, that would be great if you'd check for me. Heck, pop the heads and split it into 2 or 3 flat rate boxes!! Just let me know when you get around to it.

    thanks,
