I sell a lot of stuff on cl get that all the time you think someone might be serious then you get the 2nd email with all the b.s . You can always tell the real B.S.rs when you get the first email and the person asks is the item still for sale. If they don't mention what it is its fake

 

the queen of Nigeria sent me a similar email. she needed help cashing a check.

 

You got one from her too? Im my case it was a Princess and she spelled her country Niggeria....gee, DOH!!

It is amazing but I continue to believe that these guys must know that if they hammer away at thousands of ad's, one fool out of the thousand will open their books to them.

If I had 10% of the "excess" funds that have been promised to me over the years, I could retire tomorrow...no, TODAY!!

I got a similar response for a raggedy $50 boat with no title.

The guy will send an agent. I trust it's in the condition you say it is.

Dateline NBC has been tracking a few of these guys down in Nigeria.
Very comical when he lets them know the jig is up.

 

My 90 year old father received a letter from Nigeria. Seems that they had
found some money from a deceased estate that they wanted to put into his
bank account. All he had to do was give the letters sender all of his bank
and credit account numbers and they would deposit the money. You just know
where this is going. He had a good laugh and threw the letter away.

Rotten scammers like this often try to scam the elderly.

 

According to Sir What's-His-Name I have, in the last 18 months, made $184,037,750,500.05 in various UK lottery winnings. I only need to call "this number" and give the agent my "name, adddresses, phone numbur, soshal security numbur, and the akount numbur of the bank in whicch you would like the funds depositit pleese and thanc you"

And yes, 184 billion is the actual amount of all of the e-mails added together...so far.

Every once in a while I like to log into my junk email account and reply to the email address....if you send over 100 replies from the same address it has a tendency to crash their email server LMAO

 

That's the problem with cl. Its rare you actually get some serious people that email
