the easiest way to check is look both part numbers up. Yamaha does not change part numbers unless they are different. so if they are the same it will work.

It looks like the discs from an FJ600, FZ600, FZ750/700, XZ550 (83 w/dual discs), RZ350, SRX600 and XV750 will all work. I have seen them listed as 266 -270mm in diameter, but they all seem to be about the same. The part numbers will be different because they may have slits or holes or be plain or directional. As long as it has the right bolt pattern for the wheel and the right diameter it will work. I have mixed and matched a variety of discs on my race bike. From what I can find, Yamaha uses the same bolt pattern and 2 different diameters. The 650 turbo uses the small diameter, generally listed as 267mm and the bigger bikes of that era, FJ1100, venture, V-max use the larger diameter, 282mm.

I find lots of good info here, when I am looking at wheels, carbs, forks and brakes.

What part of the world are you in? Pretty sure I have a spare set from when I put the R1 discs on mine. (R1 are bigger diameter though)
