rubber shaft repair question????

    A friend of mine has a rubber shaft that holds his tail light in place and upon removal he broke it. the question is can he repair it somehow with epoxy or glue? i told him you guys would probably have an answer for him! thanks in advance!

    Is there anyway you could post a pic of the part and alittle bit about how it mounts. What kind of bike is it on more info would be great.

    "super glue" holds rubber like you cant believe, especially the good stuff. the little tubes ain't the greatest

    yup super glue.

    Or if it's actually plastic, some types of it can be heated and melted back together, plastic welding.
