    this might be a dumb question but where can i find a good deal on some 29mm valve shims. i just need to replace five of them (2.60mm, two 2.65mm, 2.75mm and 2.80mm) thanks for any help.

    Don't know anyone price but Z1 Enterprises's and they sold them to me for about 4 bucks each. I found the tool for 9 bucks delivered, on fleabay

    My local bike shop swaps them out for free....give your local shop a call and see if they would be willing to do the same.

    what fender said.
    I have a shop that will swap for free unless I'm giving one they have lots of and/or taking one they have a few of. Then it's an entire dollar to swap. don't rule out ANY metric shop out of hand without at least making a phone call. beemers too.
