No pics? Averages 65 to 70 mpg? and the CO soon to be PO says no carb work needed?

It's in boxes in a corner someplace and he doesn't know what's wrong with it. Could still be a good buy.

Just because it "doesn't need" carb work does NOT mean it's "ready to ride."

Chill fitz, it was a attention getter, not a pronouncement!

I post these as I find them while I'm looking for bikes to buy and restore. I don't bother mentioning the bikes that I restore and sell because, well, it doesn't matter to anyone but me and the buyers. I don't make judgements on the bikes that I post and only do it to maybe help the guys looking for a cheap ride. In the same token, if I'm going to offer advise to new riders, it won't have anything to do with tearing their "new to them" bikes down to the frame to be sure that every nut and bolt is properly torqued and lubed.....no, it will be to suggest they always look in all directions when riding and to go and learn how to brake from speed...cause other then replacing the rear brakes and tires on these bikes, those things will save their life...anything else that happens to their bike will leave them alive and quite well on the side of the road.

my seca 750 got 65 on the freeway. Granted, I was running lean as f*** because I didn't realize it had the carbs from a 650, but you can't argue with results!
