I've started looking around and can't seem to find anything yet. I would like to see what everyone uses for a tank bag and more importantly the backrest bag. Thanks

I don't have a tank bag, but I did make my own Biker Buddy, which is a round hard bag that straps to your back seat and used for storage and a backrest while riding. They seel them, but I just decided to just make my own instead.
I used a large plastic cylinder covered with black seat vinyl and a backrest pad that's held in place with Velcro so it's adjustable. It opens on the end with a quick release plastic buckle. It works great on long rides and holds alot of extra stuff.

    Here's what it looks like:

I'm not a "backrest" kinda guy; but I use tank bags a lot.

Cortech "mini" magnetic, used for commuting and day trips:

Cortech 14L magnetic "traveling" tank bag, Coleman "soft" cooler (and my tennies) strapped to the luggage rack:

I probably mis-spoke, not really a "backrest" but a bag to attach towards the rear for misc. tools, extras, etc. I like that and since mine has a half-sissy on the back, would be easy to attach to. Thanks

Oh, gotcha. Check out Cortech's whole line, they have "trunk" bags and bags that are designed to go on the back of a crotch rocket that would strap right on. http://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/catalog ... 48_31.html

My blue thing there is one of those soft cooler/"murse" (man-purse) things that has a quited waterproof vinyl lining and a "stiff-ish" bottom. It'll hold 12 cans of your favorite refreshing beverage and enough ice to keep it all cold. (Or 6 cans and some swammiches.) http://www.coleman.com/coleman/colemanc ... 515&brand=
