    Hey Everybody!

I am new to this forum, and not sure how to properly post so please correct me if I am wrong. 8)

I just bought my first motorcycle, a 1980 XJ650G Maxim. i am currently in desperate need of the 4 rubber carburetor joints that go from the carbs to the motor as they are old and dry rotted. Yamaha wants mucho dinero! Also, my tachometer cable is leaking, and i read the thread on how to fix it. i am just unsure of how to order these o-rings off the site. Sorry I'm such a N00b, I'm just dying to get out there and ride. Any help is much obliged!

P.S. i can and will buy these parts right away. :D

    Thank You!

Send a PM to Chacal and ask about part number HCP559 -- tell him you need four of them. I very much doubt he'll charge you what Yamaha does.

As for the tach seals, you're looking at HCP3537 for the d-ring and HCP3539 for the seal itself.

Totally pm chacal! If your carb boots are just cracked and dry rotted but not completely blown out, I'd give them some black rtv treatment to try and get them sealed so you can ride. Search for info in the forum about it, it's not too hard to do. Good luck and hope you get to riding (safely) real soon!
