Hello all, newbie here. I just picked up my first Motorcycle. 1982 xj650 Maxum. I am very excited to get started riding and working on this thing. My husband has a Honda Goldwing and we have ATV's, Horses and Jeeps. I do all the mechanic work...he does the riding. It's time for me to get out there and try my hand at a bike. This bike is pretty rough...a real fixer upper but it runs like a scalded dog!! I have already started lurking around in the forums...great info here! I can't wait to ask for help. I just have to figure out where to start. I'll take a pic and post it soon.
