wont shift

    ive been messing with the project here and there but the problem i have right now is it wont shift outta first or any other gear, friends told me that it can be a bent shifter fork? how hard is it to replace a shifter fork?

    Can you get it into neutral?
    If so, you most likely have not bent a fork but a dead starter clutch chain guide. Gotta split the motor for that one.
    If not, spliting the case is about your only option short of changing out the motor.
    Sorry. Bad news either way.

    crapppp!!!! but no i cant get it into neutral, the bike was giving to me this way guess ill look up some motors

    I wouldn't get too upset, pulling the engine and splitting the case is not as hard as it may sound. It just takes time and preparation. I can do it in a day but I know what I'm doing. It took me about 2 days spread across a week to do my first starter chain guide so use that for a rough guide. It set me back about $50 in parts and tools to do it as well.
    With the help here on the forum, you can tackle this and we'll walk through it with you, you just need to communicate what you are seeing and what your questions are very clearly (spelling and punctuation count!).

    Hold on a sec. Is it at least on the centerstand? You won't be able to just jam the shifter up and down through the pattern, you need to be turning the rear wheel. The design of the transmission is such that you cannot run through the pattern without rotating the trans. by turning the rear wheel.
