Hi just found this place, just returned home with my first street bike I bought back in 95, its an 83 Seca Turbo, I had given it to my best friend about 10 years ago when I bought a new Buell, several bikes later she's back where she belongs in my garage, he's a great guy but neglected the Seca and left it sitting outside, long story short he just moved and coulbnt take her with him so home she came, ready for a resto...

Welcome to the site and great to hear a 'family reunion' story. Wonder how many of us here think about getting their original first bike back? If the number of seca turbos keeps growing like this we may have to open a section here just for them! Look forward to seeing your progress as you bring her back to her former glory.

Thanks! I've wanted this thing back since I parted with it, but never wanted to be an Indian giver so I just waited, now I have the opportunity to do her some justice....First up, I just dumped about 2oz of mystery oil in each cyl. and I'll let it sit till tomorrow before I try to turn it over by hand...
