    Why not rebuild it?

It still stops good but everytime I grab the break alittle fluid weeps out. My son is about to do a $600 paint job on it so the last thing I need is brake fluid on the paint.

Im going to get rocks thrown at me for telling you that JB weld is impervious to brake fluid but, .... it is.

That was my first thought seal it sand it and paint it. That thought is still at the forefront. There aren't that many 1100 parts out there. I have been searching e-bay and craigs list and nothing. I can't even find the specs on the M/C to see if any other one will work. May end up going after market but dont want to if I can avoid it.

There is a big cycle salvage yard here in Minneapolis that has lots of XJs (not sure about an 1100 though) and they will ship parts, you could call them (and probably lots of other salvage yards too.)

Hope it helps, and good luck on your part search!

Thanks Mike I will give them a call. I can find every part for all other XJs but the 1100. Either the bikes are no good or the people that have them dont want to give up any parts. There is a large cycle junk yard close to me and all of the XS and XJ1100 parts are gone.

I have a couple of front and rear MC's. Let me take a pic of them and you tell me if you're interested.
    Thanks
