    I have an 82 xj750 that I am building into a bobber and need to know if I can use a pick up coil off a xj550 donor bike we have?

    No......they are pretty specific to different model bikes.

    Thanks I thought I saw online that that part was interchangeable between the models... I called the local dealer and the parts are discontinued any ideas and or help someone can give me?
