Here's help - say this out loud:

D@mmit all to hell and back - <name>

The first name that fits is the bikes name!

If you are still having trouble, go outside and strip your oil cover bolt before screaming the above - you'll find a name.

    My bikes Betsy

I used to call my racebike, a Seca 550 ,The Roach. I could do anything to it including crashing it in turn 8 at Willow Springs. I remember sliding on my back seeing my bike doing cartwheels in the dirt thinking to myself, Those forks are toast!!!. Well I get the bike back to the pits and only have to replace the aluminum allen screws right under the crank on the case. I could do anything to this bike and it always kept living!! The bike hasnt been started in a few years. I bet that if I went out and bump started it, yup I took out the starter, less weighty that it would start. I could do anything to it short of electrical problems and it wouldnt die!!!! Dam fun and dependable bike!!!!

Hey there Dino, haven't heard from you in a while! Where have you been off to? Hope you do pull that 550 out, it deserves to be admired by the public.

I pull up to stoplights and moments later my smoke cloud arrives. or at least that's how it was till I fixed the valvecover leak that dripped oil right on the headers. name stuck though.

My 83 Seca 550 bobber goes by Charlotte and the clean little 82 Maxim 650 I just picked up for $750 is named Shirley Jones.

With any luck, I'll get some new parts and new paint next winter, resulting in the name "XJ1655". Hopefully somebody here played Spy Hunter and will get my reference.
