What a great day - parts arrived from Chacal...................
Scary how such a little package can cost so much and yet provide so much joy.

Back to the Grease - Time to put the carbs back together.

I could not find Silicon Grease locally with the exception of NAPA at $30 for 8oz. Ebay has nice little 1/4 oz tubes for about $4

I have searched many a post on the forum and have seen some conflicting information.

Somewhere I saw a post about looking in the plumbing section of hardware stores.

Any help as to where else to look would be greatly appreciated.
Did I miss something from Chacal? (Maybe a hint for him to carry)

    Thank you

    Stephen

I've had no problem sourcing it locally, but Chacal does indeed stock the stuff. Ask for HCP1714.

    Silicone, actually.

Easiest thing is in the plumbing department of your local hardware store. Should be a couple of bucks for a small container of it.

Yep, I found a little tube at O'Reilly's that was labeled for spark plug boots. 100% silicone grease.

    GOT IT!!!!!
In the Plumbing Department at the hardware store.
$5.00 for a small container that will last a loooong time.

Carbs have now been reassembled - next task is Bench Sync
