New Bike

Hey everybody - haven't been here in a LONG time. Sold my XJ650 few years ago.

Well, I had an XS650 for 1/2 that time, and the exhaust fell off, blinkers were useless, electronics were dying, and then I lost the key.

Sold it for $400.


Wait 2 weeks.

Buy an XJ750 SECA... for the same $400.

Not missing anything except horn and horn button. I have all plastics, fenders, gauges, cables, etc.

It needs: horn, horn button, fix wire for front brake switch, new front brake handle, and basic cleaning/tuning/maintenance.

Oh, and both tires are NEW, and both fork seals are NEW. Seat has NO tears or rips, and all the plastic stuff shined up great with armorall.



I have yet to pull the VIN # from it, to check year and model etc.



Is Chacal still around? Going to need some stuff... mainly I need a YICS tool, tiny drill bit for the idle circuit, and most likely a speedo cable. Oil filter too.

Oh - it doesn't idle at all, but the pods were covered in dirt/mud and I cleaned them up and oiled them, haven't tried to fire it yet. My friend pulled the oil filter off and then realized his just trashed the seal against the motor... cereal box trick here I come!

Yeah I just looked quick and the last 'post/update' was back in September so I wasn't sure. I'll send him a message saying 'I'm back' and once I get this bike really gone through this weekend I'll get an order in.
