    My friend has a XJ550 and XJ750 maxims that he wants to part out. The 550 is a runner, but niether bike has tank, seat or side covers. Everything else seems to be there. Let me know if you need any parts and we'll go from there. He needs them to move some parts or they go for scrap metal. Lots of good usable parts left. Let me know.

    The 750 mufflers a good, wouldn't say perfect, but nice and shiny with a few light scratches. Definately no rash. I'd like $20 plus shipping

    The 550 mufflers are rough. Not rotted out, but very noticable scapes and rash. Would be better than nothing, but not worth shipping. Will give to anyone that wants to pick up. Headers are good though.

    Here's some of the items by bike that I would think to be useful and worth selling.

    1981 XJ550 Maxim 21,000 miles
    Carbs, motor parts, brakes, gauges, header pipes, crash bars, controls, electrical goodies CDI etc, front end, chain gaurd fenders, airbox final drive, headlight.

    1983 XJ750 Maxim 25,000 miles
    Motor parts, carbs, controls, speedo, headlight, front end, drive train, brakes, electrical CDI etc, grab bar, fenders. airbox.

    There are some other parts that are plenty useable, but not worth selling and shipping.If you are local and want to come pull them off I'd gladly let you have them. Just want to make a few bucks for my friend and hopefully help get some other XJs back on the road. What ever is left in a few weeks will be sold for scap metal.

    If anyone thinks they may need any heavy parts,such as engine parts, wheels, forks etc please let me know in the next day or so, I need to get the big stuff back to the scrapman. I am going to pull the other parts that you all have shown interest in and hold on to them along with all the small items. Need to make space, since I was just handed two 1991 Katanas that will meeting the same fate.

    What year is the 550? Im is desperate need of a inner left side Carb (#2?) I just bought an 82 seca and the air mixture screw was so frozen i broke the extractor off inside of it. how much for the carbs? Or just the one if possible?
