OIl drips down kick stand

    I just started to notice a small amount of oil dripping down my kick stand. It leaves a small amount of oil on the ground. bearly noticable but it's there. Any Idea the cause ? Oil level is up to top of glass sight and final drive oil is full . Thanks

    I had something similar, ongoing for a while with no oil level change and unable to find any leak anywheres. Turns out my petcock was cracked and gas was leaking (albeit very slowly), collecting oil and grime from the front sprocket (it's alittle greasy) and dripping down the kick. Looks like oil, contains oil, but isn't an oil leak. (Confirmed by removing gas tank).
    Also, solved the riddle of poor gas mileage. ^^

    Did you ever resolve the oil leak. I've seen some similar behavior on my X. It comes and goes. So far, I've not resolved it.
