I have installed the Acewell 3251 on my XJ750. I followed Cturek's excellent write up for the headlight/tailight/brakelight mod ( http://xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=2 ... gular.html ). I also managed to get the fuel guage (set at 500 ohms), neutral indicator, speedometer(with S4 cable adapter), and tachometer all working on the main computer.(tach still needs to be adjusted.)

The problem I have run into is with the LED indicator bulbs on the left and right of the unit. The turn signal indicators work perfectly, but the rest of them are working in reverse. They are all switch sensors, for example the high beam, when the switch is OFF the light is ON and vice versa. Same holds true for the side stand sensor. I stopped there and havent really hooked up anything else yet. Maybe a polarity or ground issue? I'll post the wiring diagram for anyone who wants to look at it while I scratch my head.

sounds like its wired backwards but the diagram would make it seem that that would be impossible. Try a heavier ground wire.

The diagram shows the left lights (including hi beam) require power to work, and the right side (oil, batt and brake) should be grounded to work.

Seca or Maxim? Will look at a diagram later.

yellow green blue should be off when connected to nothing and on when connected to ground or -.
the other, brown yellow green blue should come on when connected to + 12 v
the switch for the side stand may be backwards, closed when the stand is up, there's not a lot you can easily do about that
check your connections and see if your giving the right inputs to get the right outputs

Thanks everyone for the replies, I've got everything working now except the Oil level, Battery Level, And Side Stand(attached to warning bottom right). Not sure if they were controlled by something in the original Atari console, but at least all the important stuff is up and running. The side stand sensor wire that went into the old console tests as negative or ground but since it is tied into the ignition system with a relay, I don't want to mess with it. I'll just live with it working in reverse for now. 17 degrees today, time to get this bitch on the road!

Yes, my new front master cylinder doesn't have brake fluid level sensor, besides thats what the little glass window is for.

Never checked to see if it's a normally open or closed switch. It is to ground regardless.
