'82 Xj650 Maxim/ 82 xj650 seca

    Will a XJ650 Seca cylinder head fit on a xj650 maxim? My exhaust bolts broke off and spark plugs somehow got cross threaded....so i bought a new cyclinder head from a seca on ebay..will this work?

    To clarify: The 650 Seca had a non-YICS motor. As long as your bike is an early 650 Max, ('80 or '81, NON-YICS) motor, then you're fine.

    If you have a YICS motor, the head from the Seca 650 won't fit.

    Damn my bikes an 82..with YICS motor...so kinda just spent money for nothing?

    The very top of the head says YICS
