2004 l650. Bought for my wife last Spring. Stored it over the winter with Seaform added to gas. Went to get it out of storage. Turning it over, gas coming out the carb. It did start, but died soon after. Would not start. I'm thinking carb - needle, jet, something. Have been trying to start since without luck. No more gas pouring out. Tapped the carb with a screw driver. Any thoughts or suggestions? Not real mechanical, but try.

Pull the plug and see if it may be fouled. If so, clean and replace. The Seafoam might have kept most of the gunk from forming but the gas is probably stale so you should drain it all out and refill with fresh.

I don't know if you have visited SuzukiSavage.com. There is lots of information on that site. Almost sounds like either the petcock is bad/left on prime or could be the float sticking. Also check all the fuel/vacuum lines on carburetor and petcock.
