    Hey all,

    I'm recently a new member here and just want to say hello. I bought a 1981 XJ 750 seca from a mate last Christmas who only had it a short time 'till he got a newer bike and didn't want it anymore. So far I've completely stripped it down, sand blasted, painted the frame, did a complete engine re-build. I've the tank, side panels, front fender etc away being professionally painted. I got the engine started but found it impossible to sync and tune and after searching a few threads here and removing the carbs AGAIN I discovered that the throttle shaft seals were non-existant!! So hopefully I'll soon get new ones and get her going proper, can't wait! I'll put up some pics when I get a chance.
