I put this here because I have yet to find another one of these.
Anyone have manuals or any info on the full dresser>
Also how do I know if this is a RH, R, RJ model?

I've only seen a couple with all the parts, nice looking bike.

    It's a Maxim, not a Seca, so it isn't an R model.

You need to know the year, and the first 3 digits of the short VIN, on top of the crankcase. Then you can read this:
    All about VINs

Len has it all laid out for you there.

I have done all kinds of research on the touring kit and boy is there a lack of info. I got some part numbers from "THE" parts guru on this board but that had nothing to say about cross fitment or such. I could only come up with a picture of a creepy guy standing next to one of these as the only other All Black, fully touring Maxim. I am trying to sell my kit as a bolt on for other owners currently, but it is hard for me to say they will fit any other XJ's or such. I do know the Viragos had the fairings on some bikes, but no matching trunk and bags like we have.

Does the fairing have a Yamaha OEM tag and number on it? Seems like the fairing is a bit different than mine.

Mine is an 83 XJ750K with the 22R short code on the case. I think we are 2 of 2 that have this kind of setup, because no matter what search engine I used I came up with blanks after hours upon hours of research. Like my other Maxim and V65 parts they will probably ship to Europe...these things are hot cakes across the pond!

I told my wife, this thing is 2 doors short of being a Geo Metro, it's so darn big, lmao!

I have the bags and trunk on my 83 750 with slipstreamer fairing which I have cut down after posting the gallery.I have also investigated and found several old Yamaha promos, they called it a tour-pak.Was used on Viragos also. Still can't find out what the small bracket was used for under the trunk, just curious.Look at Dads vintage brochures,I think that's the site.

I have a Metal flake Red 81, XJ 750 R Seca according to the Serial # with the full Fairing, Vette hard case rear cases and the big case behind the seat with the back support for the passenger. I would put a pic of it in here If I could figure out how but as of yet I haven't figured out a lot of the workings of this program. I am in the process of going through mine presently since the previous owner was pretty hard on the ol gal. I was considering turning it into a Bobber since some of them have really caught my attention but now I have decided to keep this one somewhat original since it would seem their are so few of them left. Either way, so far this Yamaha 750R seca has really taught me a newly acquired respect for what Yamaha was really about when they put it together. I feel now that they were quite a bit ahead of their time in 81 when this bike was put on the road. grunt007, Mi.
