    Just bought an '85 XJ700 yesterday afternoon from
    a guy locally and stumbled right into the place doing
    a search. COOL FORUM!!! 8) Diggin' all the great info
    and insight. The XJ is my first Yamaha street bike so
    I wanted to look around and see what the rest of the
    world thought of 'em... Righteous bike and I can sure
    understand why you good folks are here.

    Hale from out in West Texas. Good long riding season
    and looking forward to saddlin' up this "newer" XJ and
    gettin' up and down the road! :D

    Yes sir, Had to pull the carbs earlier today and get some
    genuine varnish issues resolved first thing. Real problem
    with a straight idle. She's smooth as silk now and I'll sure
    start down the list with the chx. Will tackle the front discs
    too, Purdy thin... :)
