Hi, I want to have a new tire put on the front of my 750 maxim. I have never taken one off before. When the bike is on the center stand the front wheel touchs the ground. Do I place a jack and jack the front up a bit ?
    Whats the sequence ? Thanks

You can do that, or if you have something to anchor to, you can strap rear down which will lift front tire off ground.

I jack mine up behind the oil filter and in front of the exhaust collector. unhook your speedo cable. pull the axle. then work the tire out. It may be helpful to pull the break pads but I havent needed to.
