This is a brand new Mac 4 to 1 exhaust that I got on an '81 550 parts bike/bobber project. I don't want to give it away but before I go through the hassle of ebay, I thought I'd offer it to my fellow XJ riders first. I have removed it, it has never been ran on a bike. I don't know if I have all of the hardware that came with it, but there is some and I'm sure it can be installed with minimum effort. I've entertained thoughts of putting it on my '82 550 but I've decided to keep my stock exhaust. Please pm me if you are interested in the exhaust or any other parts from a 550 that I might still have. Serious inquiries only please.

    Thanks,

+1 on what cutlass said, a ball park figure will usually get more results. Nice looking "Zorst"!!

True, I was thinking 200.00 plus shipping. I think it goes for about 400 brand new on ebay, and yeah, I'll throw in a zip tie, lol.

That zip tie is a stock vibration dampener, usually don't see them in that good condition.....LOL

Yeah, had to snip it to get the exhaust off. Oh noes! How will anyone be able to find the equivalent OEM replacement for it? :)

I've seen aftermarket dampeners with more teeth, but they just don't have that same color as the factory original.

Yeah, and I think that they dry rot faster then the OEM, oh well, you get what you pay for, lol.

Can anybody give Mac and I an idea whether or not
his header would bolt up without issue on an '85
    XJ700?
    Thanks!

Oh man, you still have this?.. I never checked back with you because I thought you would have gotten rid of it by now. I did sell my Mac Virago exhaust but I spent the cash on a Jet Kit, Rebuild Kits, K&N Filters and new carb boots. :(

I'm going to crunch some numbers and check back with this post soon. Otherwise, good luck with the sale!

Sold! Thanks Donkey! I think you'll really like and enjoy this exhaust! Maybe when you get it mounted you can make a video on youtube for us to hear it, have to admit that as a fellow '82 XJ 550 owner, I'm pretty curious to hear how it will sound, lol!
