Hi need a nice # 2 from the left exhaust header pipe for 82 Seca 650 XJ650RJ. No rust or dents must be nice, anyone know where I can find one? Part # stamped on it is 4KO prefix. Would also like to know if there is ANYWHERE to get carb slide diaghrams for the Hitachi carbs on same bike, they are nearly 30 years old, cant last much longer! Thanks for any help!

I could be wrong but I'm sure that I read a post by JBM that said if he didn't have a direct replacement for the carb in question you could ship him one of your carbs for him to use as a template to make a diaphragm for that carb and give you a deal on the price. Now, like I said, I could be having a senior moment ( no I'm not a Mexican) but I'm sure that was the gist of the post in general.
Anyone remembers the link to his post, put it up so that if I'm wrong then I can be properly corrected. I don't want to send anyone off on a wild goose chase by speaking out of turn.

    Link to a good parts fiche: http://www.yamahapartshouse.net/pages/O ... brand=YAM#

Good luck finding a #2 pipe. Your best bet is to troll eBay and stay on top of new listings. Exhaust system parts for the 650 Seca, being unique to that one-year model alone, are harder to find than 550 Seca parts. The head pipes on my 650 Seca are too far gone, rust-wise, so I'll be doing Jet-Hot coating.

I need TWO #2 pipes for 550s, but they have to be perfect. Still looking.
