If I take Off the Gearbox cover Will Oil Come OUt?

    Hi I just bought a Maxim 750 and I am taking off the parts to clean them and want to know if I take the gearbox cover off do I have to worry about oil coming out? Thanks very much

    Don't know about a 750, but on an 1100 you can lean the bike to the right, ( along way right), against a wall or post, and pull the cover without losing oil. CZ

    Thanks very much!! The PO didnt look after it very well so it needs a major facelift!! Mechanically sound just needed to freshen up the paint and make all the chrome and aluminum shine again!! This site is awesome!
