Selling 83 XJ750 Maxim stock parts (now with pictures)

    Stock parts for sale, have a few more from what you see which I will have up later this week.

    All parts in decent condition.

    Indicators:
    Rear indicator rubber broken, should have the other rear in the shed.
    One front missing clamp bolt

    Rear taillight:
    Spiderweb cracking on clear lens, small crack in the rear lens, missing the ground wire (see picture below)

    Mirrors: slight rust at pivots, could be polished to new.

    $5 per part with some exceptions (PM for pricing)

    Seat

    Sorry Rick, they do work as they are still attached :p

    The take-offs are the token parts removed while bobbing.
    I'll snap some pics of it all on the weekend.

    May be pulling the horn soon for a louder one, I will let you know when I do.

    Hey Dave, I might be interested in the grab rail, my 81' 750 Seca never had one and do you have the stock mufflers? Also I might be interested in some other parts if you list what you have. I'm presently involved in re-building a 81' XJ 750 Seca and it's looking like before I am done that I am going to have to be purchasing a number of parts :((( Let me know. grunt 007, 81' XJ 750 Seca R, Mi.

    The 750 maxim rear grab bar will not fit the 750 Seca if you have the rear tail light cowling. You need to use the 81-83 750 Seca rear grab bar.

    Thanks MiGhost, I didn't know that. What else do you have to sell besides the grab bar? I am begining to wonder just how many parts I am going to have to replace on my 81'XJ750 SecaR before I am done with it. You know this whole thing is turning out to be quite a learning experience but the more I work on this bike in my spare time the more idea's I am getting for in the future building up a Bobber out of a XJ 750 Seca. I am sort of thinking of starting out on one by having the entire frame chromed and then changing out the headlight with a nice Chrome one, same with the tach and the spedo as well as some other fabrication while still keeping the rear shocks since at 64 years old I don't feel like bouncing all over the place on a rigid frame. Idea's are forming in my head as I type this. I have downloaded quite a few pics of other Bobbers which have caught my eye that I study regularly. What a way to express a persons individuality to say the least. I think that all which come into and join the XJ Bikes club here really walk away with a ton of information and with so many of the guys in here answering questions on how to correct problems others are having just amazes me. I study the XJ site every night and everynight I learn more about these bikes. Better information in here then what I got years ago going to College and a whole lot cheaper!     I am working on pics, will hopefully have them up tonight, then I willreply to you all with pricing.

    Will have more pics up on monday too as some large parts are still in the shop.

    No seat though as unless you are really gonna make it worth my while. I am keeping her as it is pretty mint and I have no doubt I'll be grabbing another Maxim soon for restoration.
