This question was spawned from the picture of the recently posted street fighter. Are there any good sources for a single seat for a maxim or does it have to be homemade or custom?

homemade or custom. Our lovely little machines are old enough and ignored enough that we are pretty much the bastard children of the motorcyle lifestyle. Or, at least that's what my (harley riding) brother tells me. :D

I'd rather be a bastard child than ride a Harley or Harley look-alike...

I don't mind Harleys. It's just a shame they're so much work and sell for twice what they're worth.

I don't mind Harleys either. There's just no way I'd want to ride something that "popular". Just the way I am. Give me an oddball or antique any day. :)

I hear what your saying about the whole "popularity" factor, and I love my Seca as much as anyone, but I'd trade my XJ for even a lowly Sportster (similar condition) in a HEARTBEAT.
