Im new to bikes but have lurked a lil on your forums im looking at getting this bike to learn how to ride. I am a large rider 6'2' 330.

Questions are is that a good price for the bike i have many other pics and its seems to be in great cosmetic condition.

For someone of my size is this still a good starter bike for me.

I do plan on taking the safety classes and having the bike checked out for all the things an older bike needs(co worker is a motorcycle mechanic).

Thanks in advance for your time and i really do like the look of this bike so I plan to be on these forums for awhile.

    Man, that's a clean bike!

I think it's a real good price if it's mechanically sound.

I'm 6' and 275 and mine gets me around plenty fast.

i think its mechanically sound, guy who is selling seems to be quite knowledgeable and has other bikes, also a pillar of the community (small town guy) i know to check everything regardless of what he says. He is willing to ride it the 2 hours to my house if i decide i want it, which i think speaks a lil bit as to the bikes mechanical condition(as far as he knows anyways).

If the mechanicals are as good as the cosmetics that is a very fair price.

My concern would be your height, particularly your leg length. I'm 6'0, 32" inseam, and found it just a bit cramped. Unless you've got short legs you might find it a hair small, especially if you're on the same side of 40 I am.

33 years young, and yeah the owner said the same thing, suggested getting some highway pegs for anything longer then 20-30 min ride and and mount them on the "engine guards"

SO the price seems fair if its mechanically good, good to know :)

oh and my inseam is like a 33
