After getting the valves in spec and bench syncing the carbs, I finally got around to doing a vacuum sync.
I used a home made sync tool with 2 cycle oil in it and a YICS tool made from instructions on the forum.
I got a little bit of 2 cycle oil in the motor getting the levels adjusted but all levels were set to within 1/2 inch of each other(the sync tool I made is 3 ft high).

    The result.......WOW!
I didn't know these bikes pulled that hard.
Thanks to the tips and how to write ups here, I actually did it myself.

    This is a great Forum.

Any pics of your fab work on the tools? I'm working on some myself.

Which YICS tool did you build? I've seen a few versions here.

Any pics of your fab work on either/both of those tools?

The YICS tool was made according to Rickcomatic's specs.
    It works just fine.

The "sync tool" was made with 3/16 clear tubing, 2 3/16 tees, some staples 4 3/16 restrictors and some "slightly used"plywood.
It ain't pretty but it actually worked.
I used 2 cycle oil filled up about to about half way up.
It is very sensitive and a bit of oil got sucked into the motor before I got it on the map. I had to start the motor, see which tube was getting sucked up shut it down and adjust a few times before I could fine tune it.
