    I need to fix my bike Tore it up last night (so sad)
    Me not a scratch ...Ok a couple I was covered in Doo-doo & my nerves are shot
    .
    Love this site I'm like a a sponge Till my head hurts

    My question is anyone have pictures of what the 1982 XJ750 Max looks like with bag's on.? Thanks .....sevenfiveOh

    I have a 4pc Vetter set on. Fairing, hard bags and trunk. Not everyone's "bag" (LOL) but I like the era correct set.

    looked at your guys bag's I like the old school cool Vetters
    went to bent bike today for other parts
    they had a set of vetters for $300
    but just couldn't pull the trigger ebay has some cheep China bags for $100
    18x12x6 if i buy them will let you know

    I'm thinking of just glue ing the stock fairiing
    can anyone recommend a glue for Plexi/lexan thanks..... SevenFiveOh

    I don't think you could break Lexan so the repair will have to be for plexiglass. If it is clear you will never make it look good again. You might check with TAP Plastic to see if they have any suggestions for you.

    If it was the bags that broke (I can't see the pics at work) then they are very likely ABS. Use ABS cement available at any home improvement store. Very easy to use and makes a good looking repair. You can reinforce any breaks from behind with thin strips of ABS. This makes a very strong repair. Just sand and paint over repair.

    I'v e owned XJ bikes for 22 yrs this is my thurd
    I've had this bike for 8 yrs when i got it it had 327 miles on it
    i got it from a boeing engineer ..It's a (long story with a tragic ending)
    but i feel it's not the one that I will end life on
    my dream bike is a 1984 maxim x700

    I finished my bagger project
    I bought some 1/2 sqr bar 1/16 thick used a acc/ox torch to bend in the vise
    welded nuts for atatch bolts
    painted the brackets them
