My rear brake pedal doesn't trigger the brake light and I can't find anything about it in the manual. Anyone have any insight on how to fix this?

Should be a brake light switch connected to the brake arm that can be adjusted

My bike's at the shop getting new tires at the moment, otherwise I'd post a picture.

IIRC, there's a wire spring that connects from the brake pedal to the switch, and pulls down on the switch plunger.

I have the same issue as the original poster. What should I be looking for or how is it adjusted?

There's a couple of fly leads connected to the switch. As a first step, disconnect them and put a continuity tester across these. When the pedal is pressed the switch "makes" the circuit so pressing the pedal should give a continuous circuit. If adjusting the switch travel cannot give you a making switch you have a crook switch.

If the switch makes you need to look further up the circuit, so get the factory manual, print out the circuit and wiring diagrams, and work out where the next link in the chain is and check it there, till you get all the way to the globe, you did check the globe first, right?

Note the closeup pic of the switch; the hex portion that is snapped into the bracket is turned to adjust the (threaded) switch "body" up or down as necessary to obtain the correct activation point.
