Ok just a quick welding question.
What do I need to do to weld on my exhaust.. Should I take the entire exhaust off or Can i just weld the muffler back on without taking the exhaust off.

you can leave it on there but you are gonna unhook your battery if you are using electricity to weld it. Don't wanna fry anything.
It may be hard to do without getting spatter or messing up paint and chrome bits.

Unhook battery, unplug TCI. Tack weld on the bike, then take it off to finish welding.

Id use a MIG w/0.23 wire and 25/75 gas, if i couldnt get that id use an oxy/acetylene torch.... A stick welder with little rod like 1/16" might work on dc

    good luck
