Anyone used an Airhawk Motorcycle Seat Cushion? After that 500+ mile trip from Baltimore to Myrtle, my butt is calling for an upgrade from the stock XJ550 seat. I'm curious how well they work, what size you recommend, and if it's worth the investment. Alternative suggesstions are welcome also.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I tried a similar product many many years ago; it worked great until it suffered a "flat."

If you really want an "all-day" seat, get your original "up-foamed" with Atomic Foam from Sargent's Cycle: http://www.sargentcycle.com/custserv.htm

    Highly recommended.

Thanks for all of the feedback. I'll check out those new options. I'll probably wait until after the riding season is over before I make a decision. Either way, I'll keep you posted.

I bought one of their bicycle-shaped seats for my 1100 V-Star and it is comfortable. Key is to not overinflate it. I only use it on longer trips. The downside is getting used to your seat moving around a bit under you - it might feel weird on twisty roads but on the superslab it's nice.

The AirHawk is a good brand - I think they got their start making cushions for long-haul truckers.
