Just started with the work so i'll keep posting as soon as i have anything new.

Here are the first pictures from the disassembling, i'll try to find a pic from the whole bike and post it just as a "before/after" comparison.

I plan to do the following:

    - new handlebars (flat, chromed)
    - streetfighter mask with headlight
    - GSXR k6-k7 racing tail with led stop light and signals
    - new rear sprocket (+3)
    - new rear rim and tyre (i'll try to fit a 160 in the factory fork)
    - new paint (matte black)

So far i've spent 400euros for the bike (with blown engine) so i'll keep you posted how much will it cost at the end.

Oh and any suggestion is welcomed ;)

    cheers

Finished with the painting of the gas tank:

I've left the "yamaha" stickers under the paint, this way i got embossed letters, latter on i plan to apply some discrete air brush shadows over the letters...

while i'm waiting for the GSXR tail i purchased led tail light with integrated signals

i've found a head and clip for the blow engine, it'll cost me 250 euros for the whole new engine but it will be up and running by wednesday.

    the math so far is:

    bike: 400€
    engine: 250€
    led taillight: 70€
    gsxr tail: 60€
    handlebar: 10€
