Any idea what pipes might bolt on directly for low cost? Took a look yesterday and I can stick my pinky in the rust holes. Anyone parting out a bike near WA state?

I have Harley mufflers on mine. They were a direct bolt-on to the header pipes on the 750 Seca/Maxim. The only thing that's needed it to make hanger straps for the mufflers, which is pretty easy if you work with tools at all. I used two pieces of flat aluminum (polished) to hang mine.
The Harley mufflers have a bit deeper toane than the stock mufflers and sound better in my opinion and not loud at all.

Hi PainterD: I am in the same position; header and crossbox OK but the mufflers are rusted thru. Which model of Harley mufflers are direct bolt-on to your '82 750 Seca? They bolt on AFTER the crossbox, right? Thanks.

Yes, the Harley mufflers bolted on just behind the foot pegs where the stock mufflers were bolted on. I had to make short mount straps out of polished aluminum to brace them.
Here's what they look like on the bike:
