The tires on my 83 XJ750 Maxim are due for a change. They have reached there time limit. They still have lots of tread but need to go. So the question is what would be the best tires for my bike.
I live in a rural area so city/urban travel is limited. I need a tire that will is best suited for highway use. Yet I do not want to break the bank either. BigFitz knows the kind of roads I will be running, twisty up down paved country roads and highways. Any suggestions?

I have the avon azaro RADIALS on mine and love them.
    Front no problem.
Rear you have to beat the swingarm a little to fit the 15mm tire on.
The rear wheel is a little narrow for the tire but no problems in around 4500 miles.
MUCH more confidence inspiring than the Dunlops.

as far east as you can get in michigan 43.027407,
if you have ANY roads with the rain grooves in them, DO NOT get tires with a circumferential sipe down the middle...

it will feel like you are riding on a steel grate bridge for the entire time youre on the grooves. VERY unsettling...
